Do you have a wider strike plate or one with an extended lip, and which SDL mortise locks does it fit?

Yes. We stock two 197 × 29 mm strike plates (wider than standard) - one with a standard size 13mm lip and one with an extended 100 mm lip. Both fit any SDL mortise lock except the SDL-PP1, SDL-PP2 and SDL-SA1. They are compatible with the following models:

If your lock is not a mortise model at all (e.g. SDL-H1, SDL-T1, SDL-R1/R2), these parts don't apply as those models don't use these strike plates.

Wider Strike Plate vs Strike Plate with Extended Lip

Both the wider strike plates share the same 197 × 29 mm plate size. The difference is the lip (also known as the tongue) — the flange that projects out to catch the latch.

The wider strike plate is 29mm wide, 5mm wider than the standard strike plate. This strike plate has as standard sized 13mm lip. It is ideal for:

Retrofitting, where the holes in the door frame are wider than 24mm.

The strike plate with extended lip (also 29mm wide) features a 100 mm lip, making it ideal for:

Wider or deeper door frames
Single-action pivot doors

Shipping is charged separately and is typically $8–$15 AUD, depending on the destination.
