How to import data from another lock?

Whether you’re upgrading to a new lock or want multiple locks set up exactly the same way, you can easily import access data from one lock to another using the TTLock app. See below for how it works and what you can transfer.

How to Import Data:

  1. Open the TTLock app and select your new lock.
  2. Go to Settings > Import from another lock.
  3. Choose the lock you want to import data from and follow the prompts.

Things to Know:

  1. Your phone needs to be in Bluetooth range of the new lock (the one you’re importing data to). The transfer won’t start unless your phone can connect to the lock via Bluetooth.
  2. What’s transferred: eKeys, all types of passcodes, and IC card data.
  3. Not transferred: Fingerprints (these need to be added manually to the new lock).
  4. Old lock does not need to be powered on. The data is pulled from your account, not the physical device.
  5. Passage mode and other individual settings are not transferred. You’ll need to set these up again on the new lock.
