If you're encountering problems with the fingerprint recognition feature, try the following troubleshooting steps: Clean the fingerprint reader with a microfiber cloth. If the issue persists, move on to the next steps. Replace the batteries: Weak or depleted batteries can sometimes cause problems with electronic devices. Install fresh batteries to ensure accurate fingerprint recognition. If the previous steps didn't work, reset your fingerprint through the TT Lock app:
Open the app and go to the "Fingerprints" section. Tap on "Reset" at the top right corner.
Select "Delete" to remove all current fingerprints. Add a new fingerprint by tapping on "Add fingerprint". Give it a name for easy identification. Tap "Start" and follow the prompts to reset your fingerprint.
Adjust finger placement: During fingerprint setup, try different positions and angles to enhance the sensor's accuracy. Register additional or alternate fingers: If one finger isn't being consistently recognized, try another finger to see if it improves recognition. Register the same finger multiple times: If your fingerprints prove difficult to read due to factors like work nature, age, or moisture, oil, or dirt, registering the same finger multiple times can help the device recognize it more easily under different conditions. If all else fails, perform a factory reset of the lock to address any fingerprint sensor issues. Detailed instructions can be found in the User Guide section of the Installation and User Manual.
By following these steps, you should have a better experience with the fingerprint recognition feature. If problems persist, please contact us for further assistance.
