Transfer a lock to another account

Transfer a lock to another account

One of the handy features of the TTLock application for the Smart DL and SDL smart door lock range is the ability to transfer the lock and the main authorised administrator access to someone else.
The transfer lock feature may be useful in many situations. An installer who has set up a lock for an Airbnb, for example, may need to transfer the lock remotely to the Airbnb owner. In the case of a property or business changing ownership, a person may transfer the lock over to the new owner. If a builder has installed and set up a lock in a newly built home they can, upon completion, transfer the lock to the new home owner.

To transfer a lock to another account, the transfer recipient needs to first download the TTLock application and register an account with a current email address or phone number.

To transfer the lock and aministrative access:
1.1 Tap the three bars in the top left of the screen and tap 'Settings'.
1.2 Go to 'Transfer Locks'.
1.3 If multiple locks are installed, select the lock you wish to transfer.
1.4 Select 'Personal' and enter the recipient's account. Note: this is the email address or phone number that the recipient used to set up the TTLock application. Tap Next.
