Why can’t I open my Loqee Smart Keybox?


First, let’s work out what you mean:

Is the protective cover hard to open?
That’s normal, especially the first time! The cover is designed to fit snugly so it stays on and protects your keybox. If it's just out of the box, there might be extra friction or suction. You will just have to use a bit of force and it’ll open up.

Is the front shell (main lid) not opening?
Sometimes, during quality checks, the shell gets left in the locked state. Here’s what to do:
  1. Use the mechanical key (included with your keybox) to open it the first time.
  2. Alternatively, use the USB cable that came in the box. Plug it into the micro-USB port to power the keybox, then enter the default code: 123456✔️
  3. Once open, you can pop in the batteries and continue with the setup steps in your user manual.
