Unfortunately, if you've disabled Auto-Lock, it limits your options for locking the door from the inside.

The only option other than using the app is to use a Remote control. With a remote, you can lock the door with just a click of a button.

If you decide to the use the app on your device, it is also a convenient option to lock the door from the inside. Simply open the app and tap the lock icon to engage the locking mechanism.

Even though leaving Auto-Lock turned on is recommended, you might have other situations where it will require you to have Auto-Lock turned off. Often the solution for this type of situations is Passage Mode. Please refer to this article for more information on Passage Mode.
