Why the SDL-S2 interior handle loses resistance

When the interior handle becomes loose, it is usually due to the tension ring inside the interior panel moving out of position. Once this happens, the handle no longer maintains proper resistance during operation.

How to fix the loose interior handle on the SDL-S2 smart lock

- While installing the product, do not let it fall to the ground. If the product falls or is dropped during installation, you may be injured or the product may be damaged.

  1. Follow instructions in this video to remove the battery terminal from the back panel. This allows you to access the tension ring inside the interior panel.


  2. Using this video as a guide, reposition the tension ring correctly and secure it back into place.

       

After the tension ring has been properly refitted, the interior handle should regain its normal resistance and operate as intended.
