Why doesn’t my smart lock automatically lock when Passage Mode ends?

If your smart lock does not automatically lock after Passage Mode ends, it is usually due to one of the following reasons.

Auto Lock is turned off

Auto Lock must be enabled for the door to lock automatically once Passage Mode ends.
Check this setting in the lock settings section of your app and make sure Auto Lock is switched on.

The lock clock is not set correctly

If the internal clock of the lock is incorrect, time-based features such as Passage Mode may not function as expected.

To calibrate the lock clock:

  1. Open the lock settings in the app

  2. Go to Lock Clock

  3. Tap Calibrate Time

This will sync the lock’s time with your phone.

Issue with the locking mechanism

If the lock settings are correct but the door still does not lock, there may be a mechanical issue.

Press and hold the # key on the keypad to test whether the lock engages.
