Why does my door always open from the outside?
Prerequisites:

2. Make sure you have tried unlocking using any valid or default passcode.
There are a few different reasons why a door can open from the outside after it has been locked and deadbolted.
- It could be an installation error. If you have a right swing door and the lock has been installed as a left swing door the door will open from the outside every time. The same is if you have a left swing door and the lock has been installed as a right swing door. Check your User Manual for the direction settings. These are some common user manual links -

- (important) Check the lock alignment to the door.
- Check the measurement "x" for both internal and external lock panels. It should be the same value.

5. It could be that the spindle is too long for your door thickness - If the spindle is too long, it could be pushing the clutch mechanism against the lock body and preventing it from operating correctly.Check the parts list in the User Manual to see which spindle is suitable for your door thickness. You can either select a smaller spindle size (if possible) or trim the spindle using a grinder (Do this with caution and do not over-shorten the spindle)
