Why is my Smart Door Lock not powering up?

There could be many reasons why your smart door lock is powering up.

Following are some basic troubleshooting steps:
  1. Check if the cable connecting the interior and the exterior panel is connected correctly. You can remove it and plug it back in.
  2. Inspect the cable and connectors for any broken or loose connections.
  3. Make sure you have installed brand-new batteries.
  4. Check the battery polarity (i.e. + and - ) is correct.
If none of these work, you can check the following advanced troubleshooting steps:
  1. Use the emergency USB power port to power up the lock - All of our smart door locks come with a USB power port on the exterior panel to power the lock in case of an emergency power failure. Refer to the User Manual and locate this USB port. Plug in a 5V power bank or a phone charger.
    1. If this works, that means the exterior panel is working but the power is not coming from the interior panel.
