Why is my Smart Door Lock not powering up?

There could be many reasons why your smart door lock is powering up.

Following are some basic troubleshooting steps:
  1. Make sure you have installed good quality brand-new batteries.
  2. Check the battery polarity (i.e. + and - ) is correct.
  3. Check if the cable connecting the interior and the exterior panel is connected correctly. You can remove it and plug it back in.
  4. Inspect the cable and connectors for any broken or loose connections.
  5. Check for any rust or damages to the battery terminal
If none of these work, you can check the following advanced troubleshooting steps:
  1. Use the emergency USB power port to power up the lock - All of our smart door locks come with a USB power port on the exterior panel to power the lock in case of an emergency power failure. Refer to the User Manual and locate this USB port. Plug in a 5V power bank, a phone charger (not a phone itself) or a charged laptop. If this works, that means the exterior panel is working but the power is not coming from the interior panel.
