If you have a special requirement for a G3 (Wired) or G6 (Matter) gateway contact our team here for a custom order.
How do you know if your router supports both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz?
If the Wi-Fi shows two networks one with 5G at the end and one without, that could indicate it supports both 2.4 GHz & 5 GHz networks. The one with 5G at the end is the 5 GHz network and the one without is the 2.4 GHz network. We recommend contacting your internet service provider for confirmation.
Make sure your Smart Door Lock is functional and configured using the TTLock app.
The Wi-Fi Gateway should be within 3-7 meter (unobstructed) radius to the Smart Door Lock. Closer the better.
Make sure you have a USB power source to power the Wi-Fi Gateway (Do not plug in the Wi-Fi Gateway to the power yet).
The location you plan to install the Wi-Fi Gateway should receive strong Wi-Fi signals from the modem/router.
Make sure you choose the correct Wifi network. Usually, there are 2 wifi networks (i.e. 5G and 2.4GHz) on a standard WiFi Modem. Identity the "WiFi Name" that you will be connecting to and make sure you have the password to connect to this WiFi network.

If you have issues configuring the Wi-Fi Gateway, please refer to this article.
Additional notes
When you power on the Wi-Fi Gateway, it will be in the pairing mode for the first 60 seconds. This is the time window to configure the Wi-Fi network settings using your TTLock.
If your Wi-Fi Gateway is already configured and you restart the Wi-Fi Gateway, it will take about 2-3 minutes to get back to the normal operational state. You'll notice it will be in the pairing mode for the first 60 seconds (as always) but after that, it will go back to the normal operation mode using the existing settings.
